Trade Your Horses is a trusted marketplace for horseracing NFTs, offering a secure and cost-effective solution for owners to engage in trading activities with their peers. Our platform ensures safety and provides a reliable space for exploring, researching, and facilitating the exchange of these digital assets.
ZED RUN is an immersive blockchain-based horseracing game that allows users to participate in thrilling races and strategically breed their valuable assets within the game. By delving into the intricate details of each horse's attributes, lineage, and performance history, players can make informed decisions, strategically select race entries, and maximize their chances of achieving victory on the racetrack. Researching and analyzing these factors play a crucial role in attaining success in the competitive digital horseracing realm of ZED RUN.
Game of Silks is a dynasty fantasy sports game where players own virtual racehorses. Rewards are earned based on real-world race results, as the game utilizes NFTs to track the horses' lineage, traits, and productivity. Players aim to build a successful racing empire, making strategic decisions in the high-stakes world of thoroughbred horseracing.
Unlike other NFT marketplaces where NFTs are simply bought and sold, Trade Your Horses offers a unique trading experience. Recognizing a gap in the digital racehorse ecosystem, we have created a platform specifically for stable owners to securely trade assets with fellow players. Our platform ensures a secure environment, eliminating concerns of financial loss and fostering a trustworthy community for peer-to-peer transactions.
If you are buying or trading ZED RUN assets you will need MATIC and WETH (Wrapped Ether) on Polygon. MATIC which is the native token of Polygon is required to pay gas fees.
If you are buying or trading Game of Silks assets you will need ETH and WETH on Ethereum. ETH is the native token of Ethereum and is required to pay gas fees and buy Game of Silks assets.
All trades require WETH on the perspective network along with the native token for gas fees.
Wrapped Ether (WETH) is used for trades on the platform. WETH is a token that represents Ether (ETH) in a way that is compatible with ERC-20 tokens, both on the Ethereum blockchain and on the Polygon network. This is important because ETH itself is not an ERC-20 token.
ERC-20 tokens, like WETH, have additional functions that ETH does not have, such as the ability to delegate approvals.
Transactions involving Ether (ETH) require the initiation and completion to occur within the same transaction. However, Wrapped Ether (WETH), as an ERC-20 token, provides more flexibility. It allows users to first approve a certain amount of WETH for use, and then to execute the actual transfer at a later time. This two-step process separates the approval of a transaction from its execution, providing additional convenience and functionality in many decentralized applications.
There are many services that allow you to swap tokens to WETH on the same network or bridge tokens to WETH from another network (Ethereum to Polygon). MetaMask allows you to do this within the app for convenience.

Marketplace
You have the ability to trade all assets, provided another stable is open to exchanging those assets. Assets labeled as "Available for Trade" are generally more likely to be accepted in trades. To view all your assets and modify their listing status, visit your stable page and click on "Edit Listing" for each asset.
When you mark an asset as "Available for Trade", it signals your increased willingness to exchange that particular asset.
Selecting "Available for Sale" will allow you to list an asset for sale.
You have the option to select both statuses simultaneously. However, keep in mind that if your asset is listed for sale and gets traded before it's sold, the sale listing will be automatically canceled.
You have the freedom to indicate which assets you're more inclined to trade. You can do this by choosing "Available for Trade" in the "Edit Listing" settings of each asset. However, remember that any asset can be included in a trade offer. When you receive a trade offer, you have the option to either accept it, reject it, or make a counteroffer.
Unfortunately, there are no free assets available. However, it's important to note that all trade negotiations are conducted directly between two stable owners. As such, Trade Your Horses doesn't bear responsibility for trades that are inadvertently accepted. The onus of any accepted trade lies with the stable owners involved.
If a proposed trade doesn't meet your expectations, you have the option to either reject it or make a counteroffer. Additionally, the initiator of the trade can cancel it anytime before it expires.
Every aasset on the platform is listed in either the ZED RUN marketplace and the Game of Silks marketplace, regardless of whether they're up for trade or sale.
To streamline your search, you can use various filters or search directly by the NFT asset's name.
Additionally, each ZED RUN asset has a link to advanced stats where you can find detailed racing and breeding data.
No, there is no chat or messaging feature within Trade Your Horses. However, this feature may be something introduced to the platform at a later time. Social media sites like Twitter & Discord are the best way to talk and message with other stable owners.
No. The only method for the payment of the any fees is ETH / WETH / MATIC via your MetaMask Wallet depending on the network and assets involved.
The "setApprovalForAll" function plays a crucial role in granting approval for the sale or trade of your assets. By authorizing a designated operator to handle multiple transfers on your behalf, you can simplify the process of selling or trading your assets and improve efficiency in asset management. It is typically called only once per collection.
It's important to note that when each transaction is completed, only the specified assets involved in the sale or trade will be transferred.
This function is commonly used by many secondary NFT marketplaces to facilitate the transfer of sold assets.
Trade Your Horses utilizes the 0x Protocol exchange proxy contract which has undergone thorough auditing and is widely trusted by other exchanges. The contract address is displayed in the MetaMask approval prompt, allowing you to verify its authenticity and security. You can explore the contract further by visiting the provided link in the MetaMask prompt, ensuring transparency and instilling confidence in the approval process.
You can revoke these approvals at any time using revoke.cash.
Users need to approve a token spending amount to enable transactions in the app. This approval allows the app to initiate transactions using the agreed-upon amount from the signed transaction, up to the allowed limit.
Users have options for approving token spending. They can choose the "use default" option to approve the maximum spending amount, reducing frequent approval requests unless revoked. Alternatively, they can select "Max" to approve their wallet balance, or manually set a custom amount that covers the transaction amount and associated fees.
If the approved amount is insufficient to cover the fees specified in the signed transaction, the transaction will fail. To ensure successful transaction execution, it's important to approve an amount that adequately covers the required fees.

Trading
While direct buying is a simple, one-way transaction, trading on Trade Your Horses offers a more engaging and interactive experience. It allows owners to exchange not just single assets, but bundles of digital assets and WETH. This flexibility enables a wider range of transaction possibilities, making trading an attractive alternative to the usual direct purchase method.
Each stable owner involved in a trade is subject to a transaction fee of 0.0025 WETH upon the acceptance of the trade.
To start trading on Trade Your Horses, follow these steps:
Connect your MetaMask wallet
Connect your MetaMask wallet that holds your assets in order to create your account or sign-in. By reading your wallet address, we will sync your assets to your stable.
Customize your stable
Enhance your trading experience by personalizing your stable. Add an email address for improved notifications, give your stable a name, and include a website or social media links. You can also upload a stable logo or a banner image to further customize your profile.
Ensure sufficient funds in your wallet
Before engaging in buying or trading activities, make sure you have the correct funds in your wallet.
- For buying and trading ZED RUN assets, you'll need WETH on the Polygon network and MATIC for gas fees.
- Buying Game of Silks assets requires ETH on the Ethereum network.
- Trading Game of Silks assets requires WETH on the Ethereum network.
Following these instructions will allow you to trade assets on Trade Your Horses smoothly and efficiently.
Start by connecting your wallet and navigating to "Propose a Trade". You can also initiate a trade from any asset listed on the marketplace or from any stable.
Select the assets from your stable that you'd like to offer in the trade. Then, choose the first asset you're interested in trading for on the right side of the trade screen. This will automatically select the owner's stable, and you can add more assets from that stable if you wish. You also have the option to bundle WETH on either side of the trade.
Remember, there's a platform fee for each party involved, which is only charged if the trade is accepted. Once you're satisfied with your selections, click "Confirm Trade" for a final review before submission.
You'll need to approve a SetApprovalForAll transaction for each collection that you trade for the first time. This allows the exchange contract to move your assets once the trade is approved. This one-time approval is a standard requirement across various marketplaces.
Additionally, you'll need to approve the WETH spend, which should cover both the platform fee and any WETH included on your side of the trade. Clicking "Use default" in the MetaMask interface sets an unlimited amount which never needs to be set again, while "Max" sets the maximum amount available in your wallet. However, only the amount needed for the trade will be spent. You can revoke these approvals at any time using revoke.cash.
Please note that all trades automatically expire 72 hours after creation if it is still pending.
The stable receiving the trade will be notified in-app and via email (if their email address is verified).
Not at all. Trading with other stable owners offers a wide range of possibilities. For instance, you can propose a trade that includes only WETH from your side, which is a great way to propose a bulk purchase. This flexibility allows stable owners to be truly innovative in their trading strategies.
When you receive a new trade request, you'll be alerted through an in-app notification and an email (provided your email address is verified). You then have three options:
Accept Trade
If you're satisfied with the proposed trade and agree to the platform fee, select this option. By doing so, the trade will be completed without any modifications. After the blockchain transaction is confirmed, the stable assets will be updated accordingly.
Please keep in mind that gas fees on the Ethereum network can be high at times. You have a window of up to 72 hours to accept the trade, giving you the option to wait for more favorable gas fees before proceeding.
Reject Trade
If you want to decline the trade and explore other opportunities, simply select the "Reject" option.
Counter Trade
If you wish to modify the trade and send it back to the other stable owner for their review, choose the "Counter" option. When you counter the trade, any new trade proposals will be connected to the previous ones, creating a history that can be referred to in the future.
You don't need to do anything further. The assets involved in the trade will be transferred between wallets and stable inventory is updated. Once a trade is accepted, the platform automatically facilitates the exchange of assets and/or WETH (depending on what's included in the trade) between the two stable owners. Any associated platform fees will also be automatically deducted from both owners' wallets.
Your assets will appear in your wallet almost instantly after the transaction is completed on the Polygon or Ethereum network.
